Through these incisions, the nasal bones and cartilages are shaped; the arch on the back of the nose can be removed, and desired changes can be made in the tip and holes of the nose. At the end of the operation, these incisions are closed with sutures and dissolving sutures are generally preferred. While closed rhinoplasty stands out with its scar-free and fast healing process, open rhinoplasty provides a more detailed control in shaping the tip of the nose. In cases where major changes in the tip of the nose are required, open rhinoplasty is generally preferred.<\/p><h2><strong>Things to Consider Before and After Closed Rhinoplasty Surgery<\/strong><\/h2><p>Smoking and alcohol consumption should be stopped before closed rhinoplasty, and medications recommended by the doctor should be taken regularly.
